CES Overview: Provides a big picture overview of our community’s coordinated entry system, Housing First approach, workflow, available programs, and how providers can participate in the system.
Who Should Attend: Recommended for any homeless provider utilizing HMIS in Orange, Seminole, Osceola County wanting to learn more about the Coordinated Entry System as it relates to getting clients into housing administered by CES. Required for sub-recipients of programs administered by HSN. HMIS 101 & 102 training required.
Assessments, Navigation, and Referrals: Reviews how clients access the CES via HMIS and the different roles for providers. Includes hands-on HMIS training in completing assessments, navigating clients towards housing, documentation requirements and standards, and how to send referrals to the CES. Separate training for users working with families vs. Chronics.
Who Should Attend: Recommended for any homeless provider wanting to participate in CES by assessing clients, navigating clients, and referring clients to CES for housing. Required for staff providing direct services for CoC funded housing programs. CES Overview training required.
PSH & RRH Provider Workflow: Reviews the workflow for sub-recipient PSH / RRH Providers receiving referrals from CES.
Who Should Attend: This training is only for sub-recipient agency staff providing direct services for housing programs administered by HSN and is scheduled as needed.
To register for trainings, please have the Agency Program Manager complete Step One below to begin the process:
(Agency Program Manager must complete this step on behalf of each user signing up. HMIS verifies user licensing and profile set up. Someone from HSN will follow-up with you based on your training needs)
